Our well-equipped beach hut ensures you have all the essentials for enjoying the beautiful weather. Whether you want a beach nap, a quick change out of your wet swimwear behind our privacy curtain, or simply to relax with your favourite drink while gazing at the sea, Sea Breezy has you covered.
Convenience is key – Sea Breezy is less than a 5-minute walk from the nearest car park (Victoria Esplanade being the closest) and the securely gated childrens play area. You will also find The Two Sugars Café (cash only) and public toilets just a leisurely 5-minute stroll away.
Welcome to Mersea Island
Escape the city and find relaxation just over an hours drive from London on this beautiful beach, where you can unwind under the sun and let the soothing waves wash your worries away. Since it's located on an island, there is a unique feature to consider—the bridge to the island may become impassable during high tide. No need to fret though, you can plan your visit around low tide.

Did you know....
Mersea Island sets itself apart from most Essex beaches by offering an uninterrupted beach experience. While high tide typically renders many Essex beaches inaccessible, Mersea Island remains an exception.
Even during high tide, when the bridge to the island becomes impassable, our beach hut remains accessible. The tide rarely encroaches high enough to reach the beach hut.

Sea Breezy boasts an ideal location, directly in front of the Victoria Esplanade Pay and Display Car Park. Across the road, you'll find the Willoughby Car Park.

Public toilets are conveniently located a brief 5-minute walk from Sea Breezy, situated opposite The Two Sugars Café.
